BCS develops products for clients assigning to them all intellectual property. In the course of business BCS consultants need to sign over the rights of the ideas we have developed for our clients. Our involvement in the product development process can include any or all of:

A solid foundation

David Bull founded BCS in a Sydney garage more than a decade ago. His first three employees are still with BCS producing award winning product designs and have been pivotal in the development of our growing engineering team. BCS is now a multi-million dollar organisation that is recognised as the leader in the provision of innovated product design and development.

It currently has a team of more than 30 engineers, specializing across a range of engineering disciplines. These include digital voice compression systems, design of complex analog circuitry, software development, mechatronic engineering, microcontrollers and firmware development for embedded systems. We also specialise in complex programmable logic design, electronic measurement and detection systems and biomedical engineering.

BCS has experienced substantial growth and now serves clients in the Middle East, USA, Canada, UK, South East Asia and New Zealand. As a result of our expansion, we have established an office in San Diego to further support our diverse client base.

The Australian Design Award committee stated the "streamlined form and brilliant software-electronics capability provide the world's fastest and most accurate diabetes test".

Facilities

BCS is located in the heart of Sydney, 15 minutes from the city and five minutes from the rapidly growing North Ryde Business Park. We have two offices in Lane Cove, one housing our head office and sales / marketing operations, and the other our design and engineering division. We have above industry standard facilities enabling us to be highly adaptive in meeting our client’s requirements.  Our design and development laboratory houses some of the leading minds in engineering. IS0 Certification

BCS has met the requirements for AS/NZS ISO9001:2000 for Quality Management Systems with SAI Global Certification Services. This registration (QEC23112) covers the Quality Management System for consulting, design, project management, prototype manufacture and rework services for customised electronic devices related to industrial, medical, defence and commercial applications.
